It is a tricky topic to discuss, so you’ll have to do a lot of research, comparison, and judgment calls on which armor would be best in your situation. This article will serve as a guideline for when you would want to spend gold on armor, instead of finding better armor immediately after buying one. We’ll be discussing which armor to get, how to get it, and all the information you’ll need to know about which armor is suitable for you in Dragon’s Dogma 2.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 Best Armor

Armor in Dragon’s Dogma 2 is a type of equipment which provides defensive properties and protects the Arisen and their pawns against enemy attacks. Each vocation will have different pieces of armor to equip, so it will be unique to your chosen vocation. Each armor piece will specialize in which type of damage it will protect you from, and it can also give certain debilitation and elemental resistances. You can obtain armor in many ways, such as looting chests, getting it as a quest reward, buying it from NPCs, and obtaining it from monster drops.

In this article, the progression for armor will be divided into sections. There will be repeated armor slots, so it will be up to your preference in which armor you should be getting depending on which part of the game you are in currently.

Final Thoughts on Armor

Armor in Dragon’s Dogma 2 is really tricky. This article is mostly about information on which armor would be good for each vocation at different points of the game, but it will be up to you whether or not the difference in each armor’s stat would be worth the upgrade. Your character might need something different from what my character needs. Hopefully, this guide has provided you the information you would need in order to have a more informed decision on which armor you and your pawn should use.

That concludes our Dragon’s Dogma 2 Armor Progression Guide, and we have many others as well for you to check out. You can use the Dragon’s Dogma 2 Wiki as well if you have further questions.
